Who teaches the course?
Shannon is your teacher and guide for the Goal Setting for Habitat Success course. She shares not only her knowledge but also examples of how she applies these same principles to her own habitat goals.
Shannon is a life-long nature lover who has a Masters degree in Ecology and a Bachelors degree in wildlife biology. Shannon is passionate about sharing her love of nature and inspiring others to take action in their own yards and communities.
Shannon and her husband, Anthony, are actively managing their property to attract pollinators and wildlife. So, she understands all the excitement, challenges, frustrations, and celebrations that come with trying to create a functioning ecosystem on your property because they’re experiencing the same things.

When does this course take place?
This is a self-paced course that you can go through anytime you want – there’s no set start or stop date. Work on it whenever is convenient for you.
