About your host…

Anthony Trimboli’s interest in the outdoors started at an early age. He was always catching bugs, toads, turtles, and any other critter he could get his hands on. This lifelong interest in nature led him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology and later a master’s degree in agriculture.

He enjoys helping landowners meet their habitat management needs, whether they have a yard sized property inside the city limits or a 1,000 acre property that is used mainly for deer and turkey hunting. Every time he steps in the woods his mind goes through this process – what is here, is this what should be here, and how can it be made better?

Anthony and his wife, Shannon, are also working to improve the habitat on their own 40-acre farm – which includes battling a seemingly endless supply of invasive plants! So, they understand all the excitement, challenges, frustrations, and celebrations that come with trying to create a functioning ecosystem on your property because they’re experiencing the same things.

And what about those Butterfly Moths!?!? How amazing are they!? Talk about lookalikes!?!? Great video! Very informative and interesting to watch! You’re a really good teacher! I think I can identify dogbane more confidently now!! I subscribed! ATB!✊

Milkweed or Dogbane? Unraveling the Mystery of Common Lookalikes🌿🌿

I’ve enjoyed every single one of your videos. 1.) They help folk understand some of the “webbing” of our native ecosystems. 2.) You give people a heads-up on what to look out for. 3.) A lot of them give me a good laugh. 4.) Every single one of them makes me feel like I’m not the only person left in America that actually cares about these things. So… Maybe I’m a little crazy. But, at least I’m not alone. 😄 You’re, literally, the only YouTube personality I’ve ever wanted to meet to shake hands with. Stay metal,
