Description
Front: Photograph of an eastern tiger swallowtail on common milkweed flowers. I took the photograph and printed it with photographic ink on glossy photo cardstock.
Back: Eastern tiger swallowtail butterflies (Papilio glaucus) are familiar visitors to backyards throughout the eastern U.S. While adult tiger swallowtail butterflies will drink nectar from a variety of different flowers, the caterpillars depend on trees for their food. Common host plants for tiger swallowtail caterpillars include tulip poplars, wild black cherry, cottonwood, birches, and willows. ©2019 Shannon Trimboli, All Rights Reserved www.shannontrimboli.com
